Sunday worship with Sam

I think I can just meet my goal of at least one post a month, if I tell you about Sam.

Sam is a kelpie-whippet cross who regularly attends the morning service at our church, Brougham Place Uniting Church. He is very intelligent and well-behaved so charms his way to special attention and the odd titbit at the post-service morning teas. He also takes a keen interest in what is happening, at least during the singing.

When John started his sermon this week though, Sam decided he was not as exciting as the choir and lay down. However, for the sake of the picture I left him sitting up.

Apologies to anyone who recognises themselves and does not approve of the likeness. It was a quick sketch to catch the moment.
